Hayato rocks, doesn't he?! He is just that little bit stupid while not being smart either. Poor kid. And dear god, slave driver much?! Though I do think that staler Hayato is a must. Not too sure about anything from Ryu's POV though. Don't think I could do him, especially now that the muses are in my head. Hayato is easy(ish) but Ryu... it would be like doing a chapter of Hard Goodbye from the POV of Yuusuke.

Thank you! I was proud of those insinuations, especially since I have this horrible thing were my muses never seem to actually slash. Grah!
But oh, there is an idea! *rubs hands together* Hayato's thoughts through Ryu coming back and that click of realization when he struts on in to take on Ara by himself. That could be fun.

I have never read Hayaryu like this. I've read some good Hayaryu but this was the shit. Like, the good shit. If you get what I mean. Bloody awesome.

Anyway, I really wanted to tell you that I love your interpretation of the happenings between the two of them. The story was overall amazingly build and collected together and their characters were at place. It was purely brilliant and really kept me with it from the very start to the bitter end.

Oh yes. World needs more fanfiction like this.

And I can't help but love the gore and fights. Your description was nice, the wide range of vocabulary made it even more enjoyable. And oh god you got me with the falling-down-from-the-window part. And how Ryu was when he was pulling shards of glass out of his arm. Perfection.

Plus I love the way you made Hayato's thoughts run. It's like him. I like your take on him, a lot too.

Yay! Thank you and I am so glad you liked him. I am big on breaking characters right down and seeing what makes them tick and then trying to show it in a different, quirky way. So it is always very nerve wracking to put them out there, especially when most of the fandom have a very preset, defined way of seeing them and the pairing. Basically, I like to be different

This is fantastic! Just, really fantastic. This all makes so much sense, explaining what really happened with Ara High. Hayato's sexual frustration that he doesn't even realise what it is! Ryu being all inscrutable (to Hayato) and yet so clearly with a plan to salvage their fight, and keep Hayato in school.

The fighting, the bruises, Ryu pulling glass out of his arm while Hayato watching on in guilt, patching each other up and the vodka, Ryu finally making some noise... I keep re-reading.

Why thank you. :) Hayato muse turned out to be a total cutie and sweetheart, didn't he? Just wanna pinch his cheeks and pat him on the ass while scooting him over to Ryu. Makes me think that Ryu is already clued onto his feels though.

Ahh, it is always good to find someone else who likes the violence and main character pain. Am addicted to that stuff. I think I have anti-hero complexes or something.

Yes, this is the Christening post for this journal! Woot! This is my shiny new fic journal as, up until now, I have had them all posted on my personal one. Thought it was time to divide it all up.

As said in my Authors Notes, this is my first attempt at Gokusen and I have only just gotten into Kat-tun (or well, Jin and Kame) in the last two weeks... however I do have a few oneshots and one of the most epically long and violent fics known to man (A Dirty Carnival and the sequel The Hard Goodbye) all in the jrock fandom.
