I recently quit the pill because the cost went up from $10 a month to $30 a month, and since I'm not anticipating being sexually active at any time in the near future, it just didn't seem worth the expense. But I'm sad because I'd gotten used to extremely light pain-free periods. I've never had too much trouble with my period, but I would at least *notice* occasional cramps before I went on the pill. I never felt any pain/cramps at all while I was on the pill. I wonder how my body will behave now that I've abruptly stopped artificially adjusting my hormones.

Why did I read this? I knew what was going to happen, but I still read it. Maybe I was aiming for the Hellblazer one and missed.

Anyway, one human being to another, best of luck with that female thing. Hope it works out.
