I lost my job in May

I heard about some of this already, but seriously, actually, what in the flying fuck. Do you have any idea why the administration targeted you like this? Did it have to do with the sick leave (where a. you didn't take more than was allowed and b. wasn't the concussion which led to a lot of the leave from an injury sustained on the job?)? And blacklisting you? Seriously these people can go rot in hell.

Anyway. I'm glad to hear you've got a new, enjoyable position, and that things in general are looking up.

Thanks for this. And I'm pretty sure my jackass supervisor (whom I've previously identified as W) decided he had it in for me when I stood up to him on two different occasions about fucking over two other teachers, one of whom had been diagnosed with cancer. He didn't want me to make a statement for her lawyers to use, and I did anyway. So yeah, fuck him sideway with a tire iron.

Loving my new job. Reminded daily why I love teaching so much, when I'm allowed to freaking do my job the way I know it should be done.

A peculiar, and apt, anecdote from your wedding: I rode down with foleyartist1, whose Ford suffered a flat tire somewhere in Maryland, upon which we discovered her used car had not come with the Ford-specific tire iron necessary to remove her old tire (significantly complicating matters for us getting back on the road). As we approached the wedding hotel, I observed a Ford dealership to which I took a stroll at some point in order to buy a tire iron from their service department, which I later presented to foleyartist1.

I say all of that as a preface to an offer to you that I would also gladly procure the tire iron of your desires.
