I am now the "proud" (read: geekily ecstatic, but knowing full well that this purchase was silly) of the complete Highlander TV series.

:D

I miss this show, and will be glad to be able to watch it again.

Incidentally, for those interested, it's out of print now, but people are dumping sets on Amazon for about $15-$20 per season.

A friend of mine pointed out once that it really should have been titled "Cool Fights In Cool Places." He is correct, I think. :)

It's definitely not the best thing ever, but it's far from the worst. It's a surprisingly consistent show, in terms of quality. Almost every episode is "pretty good." There are a few awesome ones, and, in my opinion, one single awful episode. And for six seasons, that's not bad.

And Adrian Paul is hot.

Yes, he is! Plus, as I recall, I had infants at the time I got hooked on it, and was in grad school, and had no time for anything. I discovered that I could have just a really happy sci-fi/fantasy time watching Highlander in the wee hours.

Well, darn. Now you've got me wanting to watch it. *grin* My favorite scenes were the ones in the past. LOVED it when the guys had really long hair and period clothes on.
