I thought the movie was hilarious. Kind of like Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, but on acid.

It was hilarious. But have you seen any of the publicity for it? It was entirely accidental.

Nor am I a particular fan of the Manichean theology, but whatev. If I were running a movie house--it would be the LEAST profitable art house ever--I'd do a special double feature: Constantine with Spawn. TO HELL--AND BACK AGAIN!

*wince* Ouch. What a horrible feature that would be.
And no, the theology is horrendous. But that's part of the point of the comic, actually, and the entire Vertigo comics setup.
