[The feed flicks on to reveal a narrow, pale face with gray eyes, framed by short, messy, ashy blonde hair. Expression carefully stoic, her eyes are contrastingly fervent, intrigued, a little disoriented and afraid-as any new arrival can be expected to be.

Yes. My original home is a place called Japan; I was pulled into a book called The Universe of the Four Gods and thus transported into that world.
[She doesn't bother asking Usagi if this is another book world, because, well. If she's a native, then she wouldn't know.]

That's exactly what this place is; another world we've all been all been pulled into. Unfortunately though, there doesn't seem to be a known way out of this one besides through sheer random chance.
( A beat. ) This place is called Adstringendum, fitting really. We were brought here supposed spirits known as the Animus.

So basically, myself and others are trapped inside a dystopic hellhole on the whims of some intangible and, I assume, since they haven't yet been eradicated, practically invincible spirits?
[Irritation, muted panic, and despair battle for dominance in her face. Her words are a staunch denial of the latter two.]

They also have this enjoyment out of playing games with us. Every other week or so these events of sorts occur, from the completely mundane if a bit annoying to the... less than enjoyable. Just last week we had our own personal music playing nonstop for the entirety of the week.
