Wedding Day

The big day for the Yunjae couple was nearing, and in one day, they would be officially, legally, and lawfully married to each other, although Jaejoong refused to let go of his own surname (he did agree to let their children take after Yunho’s surname though), but the others still all called him Mrs. Jung.

“So, Yunho and Jaejoong are going to be married tomorrow,” Jaejoong’s mother started, as she pursed her lips, a frown on her face as she seemed to be deep in thought.

“Yes we are,” Jaejoong confirmed, kneeling beside Yunho, and across their mothers.

“We have quite a few problems here,” Jaejoong’s mother spoke up again.

“And they are?” Jaejoong frowned in her stead, looking at her suspiciously-almost accusingly.

“We haven’t decided on the cake, and the bouquet,” Yunho’s mother answered.  “And we can’t get a suit tailored in such short notice.  There’s no suit that fits you, Jaejoong-ah.”

“What!?” Jaejoong shrieked.  “But that’s like, everything isn’t prepared!”

“Well… at least we got the place ready…” Jaejoong’s mother mumbled, and ‘eep’ed when Jaejoong shot her a glare.

“Anyway,” Yunho’s mother cut in.  “We’ll start by the most important one first…”

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

“Aw, look, look, Jaejoong!  Isn’t this just lovely?” Jaejoong’s mother cooed as she held out a white wedding gown in front of her.  “When I knew I had no daughter, I was almost ready to sell this dress!  Oh, I’m so glad I didn’t!  My dream of seeing my child in my wedding dress is coming true!”

Jaejoong banged his head on the desk while Yunho looked at him in worry.

“Why can’t we go rent a suit or something?” Jaejoong nearly whined as he looked at the gown in dread.  He had never thought of wearing a wedding dress, much less something his mother had used, and stored in that godforsaken wardrobe for almost twenty years now.

“I already asked.  We got one that matches Yunho’s size, but none that matches you,” Jaejoong’s mother sighed.  “Now you see, you should’ve listened to me when I told you to drink more milk back then!”

“Okay, okay, I’m sorry!  But do I really have to wear that dress?” Jaejoong asked, now desperate.

“Well, there’s always Yunho’s mother’s dress if you want…”

Jaejoong banged his head on the desk again.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

“Aw, this one is good!  Try this!” Jaejoong’s mother squealed as she shoved a spoon with a small bit of cake on it into Jaejoong’s mouth, nearly choking him.

Jaejoong gagged for a few seconds, and glared at her.  “Do you want me to die!?”

“What?  No!  How could I want my own son to die?” she gasped, as if he had just said a very hurtful thing to her.  “Oh, so what do you think?”

“Mm… it’s quite nice, but something is-“

“Yunho-yah, try this!” she said as she shoved another bit into Yunho’s mouth.

“-wrong.  There’s mocha-mom!  Yunho’s allergic to mocha!”

The two then went into a full-blown state of panic when Yunho suddenly fell down to the floor, and became epileptic.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

“You’re not allergic to pollens, are you, Jae-ah?” Yunho’s mother asked as Jaejoong’s mother was busy tending to Yunho.  “Well, we have a few choices for the bouquet.”

“And they are?” Jaejoong asked warily.  He had learned to grow wary of the two, as when they were together, the two of them could become a force that had to be feared.

“Well, since we’re asking for them in such short notice, there are only three types of flowers available,” Yunho’s mother sighed, holding up her three fingers.  “Lavenders,” she said, motioning at the stems of small-budded flowers that were indigo in color, and were quite sweet-smelling.

“Mm-hm,” Jaejoong nodded in approval.  “Then?”

“Tiger lilies,” Yunho’s mother added, motioning at the second pot of flower.

“And the last?” Jaejoong asked curiously.

“The Nepenthes.”

“Gyaaaaaah!  Get it away from me!  Shoo!”

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

“Whoa, we’re very lucky the dress is long,” Jaejoong’s mother commented.

“And that is because?” Yunho’s mother asked.

“Jae is wearing sneakers underneath.  He can’t wear high heels, and we can’t have him falling down the altar,” Jaejoong’s mother sighed.  “I should’ve taught him how to.”

“I’m not interested!” Jaejoong protested from the sidelines as he glared at her, earnestly fixing the tight gown so it didn’t hurt too much.  “I hate this,” he added as he pulled the skirt up slightly.

“Oh, we all do,” Jaejoong’s mother shrugged nonchalantly.  “You’ll just have to bear with it, and be grateful.  Lucky we didn’t ask you to wear a costume or anything.”

“If you did, I’d rather elope,” Jaejoong rolled his eyes.  “Come to think of it, that is suddenly becoming very tempting to me.  No, Yunho?”

Yunho sighed.  The wedding cake was still the one with mocha in it, so he wouldn’t be able to eat it later.

“Now, now,” Yunho’s mother walked over to them.  “Go to the altar, dear.  Junsu will be here soon.”

“Okay,” Yunho agreed.  He turned to look at Jaejoong, and gave his shoulder an encouraging squeeze.  “I’ll see you there,” he mumbled, and kissed Jaejoong softly.

“Are they allowed to do that?” Yunho’s mother asked.

“Oh, the hell, it’s cute, so whatever,” Jaejoong’s mother replied, and Yunho’s mother sweat-dropped.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

“Come on, hyung,” Junsu said as he held out his hand for Jaejoong to take.  “He’s waiting for you.  Don’t make him wait too long.”

“I know,” Jaejoong nodded, and circled his hand around Junsu’s arm.

After much debating between Yoosumin, Junsu was finally chosen to be their best man, much to the dismay of Yoomin.

The two of them walked into the ceremony hall, and Junsu led Jaejoong to the front, to the altar where Yunho was waiting, before he took a seat beside Yoochun.

“Hey,” Jaejoong smiled nervously at Yunho.

“Hey to you too,” Yunho smiled reassuringly at him, and the two of them turned to look at the minister.

“Do you, Jung Yunho, accept Kim Jaejoong as your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you apart?”

“I do,” Yunho answered resolutely, and Jaejoong almost squeaked in protest, since he never agreed to taking the role of the wife.

“Do you, Kim Jaejoong, accept Jung Yunho as your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you apart?”

“I do,” Jaejoong looked at Yunho, and back at the minister.

“Now, you may exchange the wedding rings.”

Suddenly, the hall fell silent.

“Where the hell are the wedding rings?”

“Hey!  This is a church!  Watch your language!”

“Wah!  Who was told to bring the rings!?”

“They haven’t come back from the ring shop yet!”

“Erm… minister, can we postpone the ceremony for an hour?”

Finally

I didn’t feel like writing anything long today, so this would have to do.  My muse left me, and had just come back :D

I hope you enjoy this.  If you do, please leave a comment :DD they are loved
