A/N: I’m so tired~ *is shot* I’m out of the house for fifteen hours, and had just got home an hour ago.  Watched Nanny Diaries, and is going to write a series based on it :D or I’ll make it together with Aqua, depending on whether she wants to or not.

When I was walking inside the cinema, my friend and I saw our igo instructor walking out XDD I really pretended to not see him, and he accused us of cutting class.  Che… he likes to tease us (two of my friends and I), and somehow we almost always run into him, figuratively of course :3 bad luck?

The song used is “Eyes on Me” by Faye Wong

Chapter Nine - Waltz for the Moon

Darling, so there you are
With that look on your face
As if you're never hurt
As if you're never down
Shall I be the one for you
Who pinches you softly but sure
If frown is shown then
I will know that you are no dreamer

We aren’t dreamers…

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

“Yunho-hyung are coming again today,” Changmin announced as he walked into the living room and set his textbooks near the coffee table, careful so that there would be no repeat of that day’s incident.  “I wonder why.”

“Aren’t you two working on that group project?” Jaejoong asked, looking out from the kitchen where he stood, stirring the soup in the pot slowly.

“Yes, we are,” Changmin nodded, and looked over at him.  “But do you think he’d need a piano for that?” he asked, lifting an eyebrow in question.

“Ah that,” Jaejoong chuckled.  “Actually, since Chunnie couldn’t help me with practice today, I asked him to help me,” he shrugged.  “He agreed, though.”

“Oh, the concert night?” Changmin asked, looking at the calendar.  It was only two weeks away from the supposed big event, and they all were going to attend it.

“Yes,” Jaejoong nodded firmly.  He scooped up some of the broth with a metal spoon, and sipped it, tasting it and making sure it didn’t lack anything.

“How is it?” Changmin asked, walking into the kitchen.

“This is for Donghae, not you,” Jaejoong said, and laughed as Changmin pouted at him.  “Kidding.  I’ll give him his share, and the rest to you.”

“Yay, I know you love me,” Changmin laughed in happiness as he walked back to start on the report about how the laws had changed over the last ten years.

Sometimes he wondered why they had to study that, and also why they were asked to review the changes in laws during the last decade.  As if it was helpful in any way.

The doorbell rang, and Changmin walked over to answer it.

“Ah, Donghae-hyung, welcome.  Jaejoong-hyung has just finished the soup you asked for,” Changmin said as he stepped aside to let the other walk in.

“Ah, thank you Jae.  And sorry for bothering you,” Donghae said as he took off his shoes and quickly walked over to the kitchen, where Jaejoong was, cleaning the pot he used to cook.

“No, it’s alright,” Jaejoong shook his head.  “It’s for lunch as well, anyway.  I’ve put the one you asked for in that bowl,” he said, pointing the small bowl on the table.

Donghae walked over to it, and inspected the bowl.  He took out a small pipette, and sucked in some drops of the broth, putting them in a test tube, and sealed the tube.

“This will be all I need for my experiment,” he announced, swirling the contents in the tube slightly.  “As for the rest, I can eat them,” he added happily as he sat down on the chair.  “Bon appetite!”

Jaejoong laughed as he watched Donghae’s antics, and went back to cleaning the utensils he used to make the fish soup Donghae had asked for earlier that week.

Somehow, whenever Donghae was visiting their apartment to come get the food he asked for, Yunho would come over as well to work on the group project with Changmin.

The doorbell rang again, and this time, when Changmin went to answer it, Yunho was the one there.  They quickly walked back to the living room to work on their project.

“The lunch is on the table,” Jaejoong said as he walked over the living room.  “I’ll be in my room if you need me,” he added, walking off to his room.

Changmin had said that it was possible for Yunho to get jealous of Donghae, but Jaejoong thought it was impossible.  After all, Donghae was having a crush on a student of a medical school nearby.

Later, after Donghae had gone home, satisfied because he had gotten his extract and also because he had gotten a free lunch, and after the group project was done for the day (of course, before the teacher gave them another topic to work on relating to the changes in law), Yunho and Jaejoong ended up in the small empty room where a lone black upright piano stood, clearly not forgotten as the surface shone brightly.

“Symphony?” Yunho asked as he lifted the lid and revealed the black and white keys, fingering them softly to check if any of the keys didn’t work.

“Yes, still working on it,” Jaejoong nodded.

Music started to fill the small room as Yunho played the piano, producing the tune of the song as he waited for Jaejoong to start singing.  He still rarely played the piano, but whenever Jaejoong asked him for help during his practices, he’d always come to play it for him.

As the song slowly came to an end, Jaejoong looked out of the window and at the slowly setting sun.  “Do you have to go home now?” he asked, turning around to look at Yunho.

“Not really,” Yunho shrugged, his fingers now playing a different tune.

“What is this?” Jaejoong asked curiously.

“It’s titled “Waltz for the Moon”, but the song version of this song is titled “Eyes on Me”,” he explained, his fingers still not stopping to take a rest.

“Really, why don’t you participate in the concert night?” Jaejoong asked.  “You have talent.  I’m sure the teacher could make an exception or something.”

“I’m not interested,” Yunho shook his head.  “I don’t need it.”

“Uhm… such a pity,” Jaejoong shook his head, clicking his tongue a little.  He looked at Yunho again, before he hummed, following the tune of the song.

“It’s alright,” Yunho shrugged, not letting himself miss a beat.  “As long as I can hear you sing, that’d be enough,” he added, smiling a little.

“Mush,” Jaejoong accused, laughing slightly when Yunho rolled his eyes and scrunched up his nose in distaste.  “What, that’s true,” he added, defending himself.

“Yeah, whatever.”

“In denial.”

Yunho burst out laughing.  “Come on then, let’s practice Symphony one last time for tonight.”

“Why one last time?” Jaejoong wondered.  “Are you tired?  Or are you bored?”

“No.  it’s not good to strain your throat, is all,” Yunho shook his head.  “You don’t want to suddenly lose your voice during the performance, right?”

“Right…”

“So let’s begin…”

Later that night, Changmin suddenly found two new additions to Jaejoong’s music player play list: Waltz for the Moon and Eyes on Me.

End of Chapter Nine

I’m sorry if this is short or bad T_T I am very tired, and I was actually not going to write anything today, but because I felt… uh, I don’t know hot to describe it, I ended up typing this chapter up -_-;;

Enjoy anyway, and comments are loved~

Oh, and did you know the main point of this chapter was actually only the fact that whenever Donghae came, Yunho’d come as well? *is shot*
