May the master rest in web

“Somehow, I really have a bad feeling about this,” Jaejoong frowned as he reread the writing again.  “He also didn’t specify who is who…”

Yuhan came shortly after, along with Yongchui and Changsun.

“Where are the others?” Jaejoong asked, frowning again when he saw the two others not present.

“Hojun said she wanted to sleep and that she’d lock her door and window, so we shouldn’t worry,” Yuhan shrugged.  “Eun Hye said he didn’t want to join us.”

Yongchui nodded, confirming what Yuhan said.

“Oh fine,” Jaejoong rolled his eyes and huffed.  “I can’t believe them,” he added.

“I’ll go check the music room,” Yunho offered as he got up from where he had been kneeling.  “Here, keep the card,” he said, handing the card to Jaejoong.

Jaejoong accepted the card, and gave it to Yuhan who hadn’t read the card.  “Don’t show it to Junsu or Changmin or Yoochun,” he reminded.

Yuhan nodded in agreement and read it silently.

“I’ll be going first,” Yunho said as he looked at Jaejoong who merely looked back at him, and nodded.  He walked out of the room, and down the corridor.

“We’ll go first as well,” Yongchui said, and Changsun nodded.  They walked out of the room as well, and followed Yunho to the music room.

“What do you think?” Jaejoong asked Yuhan who returned the card to him.

“Was the record played with that many instruments?” Yuhan asked almost in disbelief.  “I didn’t get to listen to the tune properly because it stopped while I was knocking.”

“Oh, that was because Yunho took the record from the gramophone,” Jaejoong said, looking thoughtful.  “We tried playing it again afterwards though.”

“And?”

“Yes, there are so many instruments, the there was a choir humming along,” Jaejoong confirmed.  “But strangely there was no diva although it was mentioned.”

“Maybe the card we found in the parlor indicated it,” Yuhan shrugged.  “After all, it said that the one who ruins the melody.  Usually, the diva chooses the orchestra to suit his or her liking, and it was never the diva whom was told to go away.  Although I don’t think the choir will be as well.”

“You know a lot about orchestras,” Jaejoong pointed out.

“I like operas, remember?’ Yuhan grinned.

“Then can you guess which will be told to go?” Jaejoong frowned.

“I can’t be sure yet,” Yuhan shook his head and smiled weakly at him.  “I’m sorry I can’t be of help more than that,” he said regretfully.

“No worries,” Jaejoong shook his head.

“Let’s go to the music room then?”

Jaejoong nodded and they walked out of the room, following the other three to the music room just down the corridor, right before the bedrooms.

Yuhan opened the door and walked inside followed by Jaejoong.  He quickly spotted the other three, and walked towards them, while Jaejoong looked around.

“Found anything?” Yuhan asked.

“Yes,” Yunho answered grimly.

“What is it?” Yuhan asked curiously.

“The harp is missing.”
