I know I’ve been missing again xD I really had fun today going grocery shopping for tomorrow’s Christmas celebration since virtually every store are closed tomorrow
Anyway, this song was performed during our Christmas party back at the 5th of December, and I have to say I quite like it :D
Merry Christmas everyone :D
Feliz Navidad
Jaejoong walked into the apartment and was surprised to find it dark. He knew that the trio had left to buy ornaments and decorations approximately an hour before, but Yunho should be still home.
Was he sleeping?
He looked around and noted that the windows were closed and the curtains were drawn. The only light in the room was the one that still managed to get past the curtains.
He sighed and placed his grocery bags on top of the shoe rack (he was smart enough to leave the door open so he could see at least the hallway), and was reaching for the light switch when he heard something.
It was an upbeat tune, too cheerful to be a pop song, yet not cheerful enough to be children’s songs. He waited for a while until the first verse came about, and had to clamp his mouth with his hand to suppress a laugh.
Clearing his throat, he ventured deeper into the living room, careful not to make any sound. There he saw it.
Yunho was dancing around the coffee table, holding onto an imaginary partner as he waltzed to the song. Sometimes he would do a solo dance, sometimes he would sing along to the song.
“Feliz navidad,” Yunho sang as he twirled, turning around the corner of the coffee table, “Prospero a-“
“-no y felicidad,” Jaejoong finished and watched in amusement as leader-shii whipped his head around to look at him and blushed a bright red at being caught red-handed.
“Um, it’s not what you think it is,” Yunho reasoned as he walked over to Jaejoong. “Really.”
Jose Feliciano kept singing in the background.
“Didn’t expect you to be so... eager, about the whole Christmas ordeal,” Jaejoong said with a growing smirk as Yunho’s blush deepened. “And I thought the kids are bad enough.”
“Oh come on, it’s not that bad,” Yunho said with a pout.
“Oh?” Jaejoong lifted an eyebrow. “Then why did you close the windows, draw the curtains, and switch off all the lights?”
“Uh... well...”
Jaejoong laughed at Yunho’s kicked-puppy expression and took his hand in his, lifting it up slightly.
“Shall we then?” he asked with a smile.
Yunho’s face lit up in an instant, and he grinned his award-winning smile.
Feliz navidad
They rocked back and forth.
Feliz navidad
One step left, one step right.
Feliz navidad
A turn, a twirl.
Prospero ano y felicidad
Jaejoong spun as he was held at arm’s length from Yunho, then spun back to his embrace.
Feliz navidad
Back and forth.
Feliz navidad
Left, then right.
Feliz navidad
Turn, then twirl.
Prospero ano y felicidad
Yunho lifted Jaejoong up, spun him once, then set him back down.
I wanna wish you a merry Christmas
I wanna wish you a merry Christmas
I wanna wish you a merry Christmas
From the bottom of my heart
The two waltzed around the living room for the length of the chorus.
I wanna wish you a merry Christmas
I wanna wish you a merry Christmas
I wanna wish you a merry Christmas
The second part of the chorus, they did a Latin dance instead, laughing every time Jaejoong would miss a step from the fast-paced dance.
By the end of the third line, they were standing close, nearly pressed together. Jaejoong looked up at Yunho, amusement twinkling in his eyes.
“From the bottom of my heart.”
Prospero ano y Felicidad
Shoot me now. I’m characterizing them like America and England -______-;;;;;
