Wooo, found an excellent mom's day special at Dell... or so I THINK. This is pre-video card:

I don't know how important Adobe is to you for professional purposes, but I can't imagine spending money on it. There are free programs that deal with pdfs just fine.

It's included free, and doesn't really count as crapware ;) So I'm good with it.

Reader is the free thing. So, no money involved.

Not that I wouldn't rather have a cleaner install, but it's rarely an option.

Take it from somebody that went through it--Research that mobo and find out how to disable the integrated video before you plunk down a video card. That was a day of my life that I'll NEVER get back.

Good point! It's only $699 (savings is nearly $400), so for all that I'm like - well, might as well get something solid. BUT. If I can get one cheaper that works, I'm all for it. Is there anything you would recommend for that setup?

It seems like a good deal, but you should probably upgrade and get the onboard penis lifter. It's amazing how handy they can be, take it from me.
