A part of her wanted wanted to believe the little girl, that the 'bad people' wouldn't hurt her here in Luceti, but as always it was hard to push aside what she saw as justified hatred in favor of that lost affection

As for my appearance, My hair is white with a hint of my mother's silver. My eyes are blue. [Yeahhh he's not going to say much about his appearance.]

Just about everything. I didn't know very much at all before coming here.

No one's ever asked me to before. [She wouldn't know what to say, really.]

I was curious, there are times when you can tell a lot about a person and how they feel about themselves based on how they describe themselves.

[vanhossen]

I'd never thought about it that way, but it makes sense. How a person chooses his words can tell more about his personality than he might think.

Exactly! So... is there someone you believe to be more physically attractive than yourself? Maybe someone you admire?

Well, there's a lot of things I like here. My favorite part's probably the friends I've made here. They're utterly irreplaceable, given the odds of any of us ever meeting in the first place.

But the scenery is nice, and I like that I'm not always finding myself fighting monsters. Unless it's in the Battle Dome, and then it's on my terms anyway.

...And as for me, I'm tall, muscular, with bright red hair, blue eyes, and I have a scar down each of my cheeks. Don't want to sound narcissistic or anything, but I think I look pretty good.

[Wow this guy had a lot to say, where to even begin the dissecting?] That's true, meeting and making friends that you otherwise wouldn't have met... But wouldn't that make it all the more painful if they left, considering the chances of seeing them again? Not that it should really stop you if you want...

[It's part of the reason she's so hesitant to get close to and trust people here.]

It's true that it's going to hurt if they leave. No doubt about it. It hurts a lot. But, if you make the time you had with them count, and you have fun and make a good friend, I think that pain is definitely worth it.

But the pain is only temporary. The good memories will last far longer than that.

But... what if you're not allowed to keep the memories? Remembering how much you love them, but not remembering who they are... [She's trying to keep this from getting too depressing, but the large gaps in her memories are persistent.]
