[Kaori's been thinking a lot since her last talk with Elicia, mulling over what she said, what she was forced to share. A part of her wanted wanted to believe the little girl, that the 'bad people' wouldn't hurt her here in Luceti, but as always it was hard to push aside what she saw as justified hatred in favor of that lost affection ( Read more... )

The girls, obviously!! Oh, and of course, how could I, Masaomi Kida, be anything but a handsome prince without any peer?!

All the girls? Please don't tell me you're one of those shallow guys, Masaomi! [Dramatic sigh, see that fake disappointment across her face?]

And I wouldn't say you're handsome, but beautiful.

[GASPU] How could you think such a thing, Kaori-chan?! No, it is that I can appreciate all the women in Luceti and open my hearts to all of them!! I can't help it if I'm too attractive~ it's a curse to be so popular!

[Complete with a laugh at the end. He knows she means beautiful as a compliment... even if he still winces a little]

[Someday you'll just get used to hearing and accepting it as a compliment, Kida.] Is it really being popular if you're the one approaching the girls? Or maybe definitions of popularity in our worlds are different, too...

My favorite part......?

I guess.... the people I've met. They've all been kind.

They've been kind...? That's... good to hear. [They may have differing opinions if what kindness is, though. :|b]

Are you new then....?

As for my appearance, My hair is white with a hint of my mother's silver. My eyes are blue. [Yeahhh he's not going to say much about his appearance.]

Favorite part...that would easily be everyone I've met here. They've all taught me so much.

I wouldn't know how to describe myself though..

Kohaku! [She remembers your voice from before!] What kinds of things have they taught you?

A-and why wouldn't you know how to...?

amber_arcangel February 6 2011, 19:57:38 UTC
Just about everything. I didn't know very much at all before coming here.

No one's ever asked me to before. [She wouldn't know what to say, really.]

You didn't? Are all angels like that...? [She'll try to help along with describing appearance once she figures out how. :|b]

My physical appearance? . . . Blonde, purple-eyed, of average height. My hair's pulled up in a bun.

[ That's about it, she thinks. ]

Why do you ask?

I was curious, there are times when you can tell a lot about a person and how they feel about themselves based on how they describe themselves.

vanhossen February 6 2011, 18:23:52 UTC
I'd never thought about it that way, but it makes sense. How a person chooses his words can tell more about his personality than he might think.

Exactly! So... is there someone you believe to be more physically attractive than yourself? Maybe someone you admire?

Well, there's a lot of things I like here. My favorite part's probably the friends I've made here. They're utterly irreplaceable, given the odds of any of us ever meeting in the first place.

But the scenery is nice, and I like that I'm not always finding myself fighting monsters. Unless it's in the Battle Dome, and then it's on my terms anyway.

...And as for me, I'm tall, muscular, with bright red hair, blue eyes, and I have a scar down each of my cheeks. Don't want to sound narcissistic or anything, but I think I look pretty good.

[Wow this guy had a lot to say, where to even begin the dissecting?] That's true, meeting and making friends that you otherwise wouldn't have met... But wouldn't that make it all the more painful if they left, considering the chances of seeing them again? Not that it should really stop you if you want...

[It's part of the reason she's so hesitant to get close to and trust people here.]

It's true that it's going to hurt if they leave. No doubt about it. It hurts a lot. But, if you make the time you had with them count, and you have fun and make a good friend, I think that pain is definitely worth it.

But the pain is only temporary. The good memories will last far longer than that.

But... what if you're not allowed to keep the memories? Remembering how much you love them, but not remembering who they are... [She's trying to keep this from getting too depressing, but the large gaps in her memories are persistent.]
