Why has this not gotten more comments? You deserve more comments. I found it after reading the violin how-to, in case you're feeling a bit gobsmacked.

Glad to hear my little fic isn't total nonsense! That violin thing got into my head and this scene fell out. It did get a couple of comments on AO3 (I'm seiji), but as it's my one and only fic and likely to remain so, I'm perfectly content in relative anonymity. :)

Woooo I am so reading this in the morning, but since I'll probably just be squeeing about it then I wanted to first say I cracked up at your joyful fandom romp description because that's exactly where I'm at right now, the whole series watched in a weekend and YouTube clip shows playing constantly in another tab at work. Right, terrible run-on sentence but you get the idea. Look forward to reading this come tomorrow!
