My latest attempt at treating my ADD is called Provigil. It's a stimulant that affects my central nervous system, activating bits of my brain that aren't usually hooked up to each other, or hooked up as well. At least, that's the summary I got out of Mom.

Ah, adverse prescription drug side-effects! Those are so much fun! [/sarcasm]

I don't let the doctor prescribe Vicodin as a pain-killer for me--or any narcotics. I over-react to them rather badly.

I've had side effects from things before, but this is by far the worst things have gotten. But I took a long nap and I think I'm mostly over it.

Stimulants in general, I think, are a big no me gusta for me.
