Now y'see, to me that sounds like an awesome adventure, not least because as you say, you must totally have looked like successful pirates. ^_^

I'm glad you managed to all get through it in one piece, though, cos it does sound like it was pretty hair-raising! *hugs*

The annoying part was the crawl home. Very boring and I was in my suit so I was getting cold. After we got into their cove it got fun.

Not that anyone would see us out in the lake in the dark. Sneaky!

Sounds like a story Joseph would tell. XD Only his version would probably have more mermaids or ghosts or something. And it would have been raining. Also he probably would have skimmed over the part where he tried to cuddle not!Cyclonus for warmth after night fell.
