Fair, part 1

Jun 19, 2009 10:45

The things I see in this city. An hour ago I woke up to find a window washing brush tapping on my window like it wanted money.

Sorry I'm late again, but here are the pictures from the fair last weekend. I'm putting up the non-combat pictures from last week's fair first, because there's a lot of pictures and this is simpler.

Cut for the obvious. )

Cool. ^_^

This one only had a bit of reenactment stuff off to one side. But it was nice stuff!

Awesome. I have tentative plans to putter around the city centre on Monday; you going to be around?

Unknown. May not happen if I feel ill. Will give you a bell or text when I get to the bus stop this end, ja?

Looks like an awesome cross between the (York) Medieval Fair, and the (Devon) Agricultural Fair. Except, the Agricultural fair has alpapas instead of pigs (advertising wool), a dog show, and the local schools advertising themselves. Why does 'agricultural fair' mean 'yay lets recruit for the army!'?

It means lots of young people wandering around with time on their hands. Same reason they have a recruiting station at the mall.

And that you got it by finding a corpse in the woods and cleaning it off and sanitizing it.

It wasn't anyone I knew! And it was half-decomposed anyway, there aren't many other productive things one can do with a rotting dog.

What, out in the woods, five yards from the road? The smell would be atrocious.

Besides, I like bones.

That looks like a good sized fair. Fun!

How big of a dog was it? Was the skull intact? *curious*

Midsized dog, about the size of the one on the table.
