You know what's fun? Walkiing around the neighborhood in the falling snow and enjoying the way the sparkling flakes dance around the streetlights.

You know what's not fun? Slipping down the hill next to the indoor pool and doing something weird to your leg so you spend the rest of the evening with a limp. Totally worth it, though!

Yeah, so my camera's bad with night scenes. )

More pictures - Yay! I'm enjoying your snow, because we have received none this year. Sunny Southwest with a vengeance!

(also - icon love!)

It's funny. I love snow, but the weather's also so cold that going half a mile to the grocery becomes so unpleasant that I do it as rarely as I can. Sun plz.

I am so with you on the love/hate relationship with snow.

I love it, as long as I don't have to drive in it.

We got two inches here last week, dropping things down to just above 0. ...the highs this week are 60s.

Here, I'm blaming it on "it's East TN, the weather is ADD." There? Uh... it's England and the weather is ADD?

A bad experience, but the result is worth the pain. Absolutely.

I think that the man who did those could fall within the "snow-geeks" cathegory. I have an example at home -my dad who has the funny habit of walking (or even driving) in freshly deposed snow ... But we all know how beautiful is wondering on that soft, slippery white film, so enchanting- until you fall flat on your butt or face. I did too.

I'm already missing snow here. It completely melted days ago, but the weather forecasts say it will be back next week... What we have now is a freezing wind.

My leg seems to have fixed itself by now anyway, so it's all good.

You're...Dutch, yes? It seems to have snowed everywhere this week.

It's good to hear that your leg isn't badly hurt (snow is a killer, in some cases).

About my homeland, let's say that I'm legally and culturally from Italy.

Anyways, besides the Ice Age in the North, we had such an extreme winter all over the country: our capital city got flooded, aswell as the lands in the South and Sardinia.
Ad now, again with a new snowstorm, I just hope our gas supplies last until spring.

Well, I meant more location-wise in this case. But yes, pretty much everyone I know has had unexpected quantities snow dumped on them in the last month or snow.

...possibly I need more friends from the southern hemisphere.
