Jello pudding is wiped off of the grocery shelfs.  So are
Premimum saltine crackers, and that gooey rice pudding
that comes in little containers.
This afternoon, a tornado watch was in effect.

because of this post I had veggie soup with dinner last night. Health Valley Organic no-fat no salt Vegetable. It tasted like lumpy air. I bet your soup was yummy. *cries*

A bad weather day with a pot of hot, homemade soup and a pb sandwich. Sounds like heaven to me!!!!!

My dad made this wonderful cabbage soup that had V8 juice in it, so it had a nice "kick" to it. He could always tell when I'd need cheering up somehow. He'd come pick me up at work and take me to his house and fix me a big bowl of his soup with a pbj sandwich and Premium crackers. It was wonderful.

I hope you enjoy your soup!!!

Lori,
Dad sounds like a good man, knowing what you need, and nurturing you into a good memory. I love a man who feeds me, too.
Cabbage soup is one of my favorites. I make it in bulk for my binge tme. Lots of tomato product goes in, celery, onions, green beans, carrots, green squash, even a little bok choy for crunch. then i add some chicken stock for more flavor. it's great with a little grated parm on the top. soup is good food. nice memories of your daddy, btw...
