Well, then, sir, I'm sorry if I repeat anything you already know, but... allow me to explain from the beginning.

What you experienced was called The Underside. I'm unsure precisely what you could classify it as. It's not obviously the city as you know it, and it isn't so disconnected as to be another dimension. It would be easier to say it's simply another layer to the city we know, hence the name.

Shino-kun, what you've awakened is a power known as Persona. Most of them, like yours, Yue's [...trailing off to look at her nervously] ...and our helpful friend here's, are capable of fighting. I belong to a secondary class that is instead capable of looking into the strengths and weaknesses of both Personas and the things we fight, Shadows.

I should note - The Underside is usually inundated with Shadows. Tonight seemed very strange. I'm going to need to contact my senpai, see if she can explain why it was so different than usual to me. If there's anything in particular you're wondering about, I can try to answer it for you.
