Having read this story, I feel completely swamped. The voices were just so good and the words themselves, the distinctions made between the types of love. I loved that John went with Mary but that the boys keep circling back to eachother because they are this unit, two halves of a whole, and their strongest connection will always be to each other.

I have have gotten ridiculously emotional over this line: "Loving Dean was never the problem. His Dad taught him how to hunt, Dean taught him everything else." Sam's whole section about the people he's loved was so beautifully done. The line about choosing to love Jess but there still being the clear difference between loving someone enough to do anything and loving someone enought to do everything, were just briiliant.

And just yes, big goddamn yes to everything in Dean's part.

This is great! I especially loved Sam's section--and him finding out that he loves his mother. That he loved her all along. That she matches the hype.
