Heyyyy. Speaking of subbing. Do you think you could see yourself ripping the Jsubs off the DVD? >_> The download has been up for a bit but nobody has done it with subs yet. No pressure, just, you're actually the first person I know who has the physical DVD.

I just finished watching it and am still in *___* mode.

Congrats on your internet! What would we do without it? T____T

*g* Tbh I didn't even have an idea that...there are jap subs? O.o
I gonna take a look at b_akakame's tutorial later, maybe I will be able to do it.

Aww your icon ♥ Do you remember the cute moment, when they were holding/shaking hands? SO adorable ♥

I have no idea -_- I decided that I really absolutely don't care about the RL and would anytime prefer my internet over it. ugh. Luckily there were not that many updates this week. x_x

Yeah, sorry for pestering you, it was just OMG SOMEONE HAS THE PHYSICAL DVD. (According to Amazon, there should be Jsubs on it, yeah.) I just know it would be very useful for subbers. Or even people with more, erm, rudimentary Japanese.

I REMEMBER. The movie didn't do as much shameless Natsubem as the series but what we did get was pretty damn fine, I thought. :DD

why can't the DVD come with English subs? ;__; now I'm torn between watching it and understanding ZERO dialogues but seeing pretty Kameface, and waiting forever for someone to possibly sub it /life choices...well, more like... torture

he is so pretty *_________*
well, about the plot, I would guess they played it more on the psychological side in the drama, while the original anime seems to be more plot-driven. tbh, it's not my most fav Kame's drama, but I like his voice him being half naked all the time ehm, I mean, I like that he got a chance to show yet another side of his acting skills *g*

*sob* I really can't say much since I haven't seen it yet ;__;

Aww Gina, srsl go and watch! You really don't need to understand that much! You have the general storyline which is totally obvious without any words, and really...like I said, I don't think that the storyline is that important here. It's really all about him being awesome, while saying almost nothing...

' his voice him being half naked all the time'
This pretty much. Tbh I'm still a bit O.o that the drama had such high ratings and that the movie did so great at the box office, because it's not that interesting...at least not if you're not one of the people who're absolutely fine with just sitting there, not breathing, because he is too pretty.

I am guessing here, but the seemingly "no plot" may be actually the biggest plus that brought the show such popularity(?) well, aside from the obvious aka... Kamenashi being awesome :|. The drama (and most probably also the movie as a follow-up) is all about family values and love, and what it means to be human is today's world, and here comes my guess, but I would say that these are things Japanese like to watch in general? Let's be honest, a lot of their dramas seem 'boring', in sense of less action than western TV shows.

Anyway, in this case, I don't even mind admitting that I am shallow and enjoy the show for pretty Kame :|
And hey, Kame said he had fun filming, so I'm also a happy little fangirl ♥

You might have a point here *o*
And yeah, it's completely true that Japanese love family relationships and all this stuff.
So maybe it's really understandable.
(I'm just still kinda amazed, because let's admit that all his other dramas after Nobuta were a...flop when it came to the ratings)

Yep. I also always say that I love the drama, now the movie, for its aesthetics. And I'm not only talking about his pretty face but more about the general show.
And the whole feeling of loneliness, melancholia also catch your attention. ( and his pretty back dimples of course too )
