Those who are paying really good attention might notice him and those with ( Read more... )

[there is some confused. he sees Al as a little boy and aaah what a cute dream! and he can't help but smile at the part with their mother. ...but now there is a suit of armor--well first thing's first]

Are you all right?

[Huh? He looks around, confused. Al could've sworn he'd just heard a voice...]

[Oh, oh, someone is talking to him. Al's sitting up now]

I'm okay! Thank you for asking.

[Other than the random blackout he can't explain, that was a nice... .... dream?]

[the armor moved! is there someone inside it? ...how strange...]

Ah, that's a relief! [smiles] Though it looks like you had a nice dream. Which one was you? [since he...can't tell from the suit.]

[It takes him a moment to realize what you're talking about... because Alphonse is still not used to the idea of having dreams or of other people being able to watch his dreams]

Oh! I'm the younger one! Alphonse Elric's my name.

Oooh, Alphonse-kun, then!

...But--[wait. the voice...it's one of a young boy but--suit--huge--wat]--er, pardon my asking, but is there a reason why you're wearing a suit of armor...?

Er... It's for training... to be a better alchemist.

[Attempting to change the subject here:] Ah, and I don't know who you are.

An alchemist? [now he's really curious! ah, but a slight distraction]

Ah, forgive me. I am Tamaki Suoh. [Westernized the order to make more sense to Al since...well he's assuming he's English...ish.] But to meet an alchemist! I can hardly believe it! Do all alchemists in training wear suits of armor? [the distraction wasn't good enough!!!]

Y...es! [Why hadn't he thought of that before? Please ignore that slight hesitation in his voice...] It's very useful in alchemy!

[Don't ask him why, 'cause he hasn't formulated a response to that yet...]

[s'oki, Tamaki has a short attention span when it comes to these things and he's just becoming more enthralled/excited]

That's amazing! Would you mind showing me a sample of your alchemy skills? Is it true you can turn water into wine?? Aaaah I've never met a real alchemist before!!

[He's never gotten this kind of response before. It's kind of nice.]

Ah! Well, you can't transform everything. There's a law of equivalent exchange. In order to make anything, you'd have to take something equal in return.

But yes, I could show you alchemy, if you still want to see it~

A law of equivalent exchange? [intrigued Tamaki is intrigued!]

But yes, I wouldn't mind seeing a sample at all! If it's not too much trouble of course.

No trouble at all! [Looking around his surroundings and spots a broken fence. He sets the Dreamberry down and positions it to look over at the fence and walks over]

[Transmutation circle drawn on the ground, flash of light, and... voila, the fence is fixed! A little thin, since he had to pull the materials together to make do, but still fixed.]

[Walking back to the Dreamberry now]

See? Alchemy.

[.......SHOCK AND AWE]

That's....that's amazing!!! You could fix the fence so easily just like that!!!

[Hand's rubbing the back of his head in an embarrassed manner. Still, it's nice to be praised.]

Ah, thank you!

What do you normally use alchemy for? I'm sure it's not just for repairing things.

Anything, really! Some people study alchemy to work as doctors. Others join the state military. And some probably use it just to make every day life easier.
