Oh, I heartily appreciate them dodging Valentine's Day for our Divorce Mediation. And although I'm not chortling about much of anything lately, I can bring a crooked smirk about the subject.
The trip Home is the best stretch of days I can remember over the last few decades! Definitely am grateful for those days.
Young Dice (a strange name, I think) seems to be a very sweet little boy. I thought about changing his name, but Jeff likes it, so not worth the effort. More important is if they learn to play together soon. After all, Dice is SUPPOSED to be Arrow's companion First. He can be our friend after that.
So far, so well. There is a little juggling around, and it's clear that little Dice has run into aggressive larger dogs. He is very careful and keeps an eye on Arrow. Arrow seems not quite sure how he's supposed to behave. Mostly, he's being quite good.
Sorry to hear about your divorce. They are a lot of work. *hugs* I am glad you were able to get to ND for a trip and that you were able to visit with family over the holiday.
Thank you for your thoughts and good wishes. The trip Home was definitely the "medicine" I needed to help me get through all of this like a reasoning adult.
I admit that I haven't been following my online friends' posts lately. Too self-centered for the last months. Will work on reaching out more and paying attention to others, too. And will work on behaving adult-ish. ;-}
My dear friend, I thank you for your words and your fun sense of humor. I wrestle with my anger and hurt back and forth. But I'm convinced that I will get the bulk of it corralled and tamed at some point in the future.
Ain't all that humanity in One Family over-whelming? Mostly, I love it. Sometimes I think we're a bit Over Done. So to speak . . .
Have a great week. I'm planning to be improving my time on LJ. Fingers are crossed.
Oh, well. You both wrote and posted them . . . that's the important stuff.
I haven't managed to finish writing my Christmas tales, much less getting them posted. Haven't even managed to get all the "Thank you" letters to my hosts and hostesses.
Just too much pressure with the legal stuff and the overall changes. Still not used to having to take care of EVERYTHING to do with home and so on. I need to tough up a bit more. So . . . . . I will.

I don't know if you will find this amusing or not, but it was nice of them not to do your divorce mediation on Feb 14th.
I am so glad you were able to get home for the holidays.
A well deserved break.
HUGS, Jon

Glad you had such a good trip back home. I still can't get my head around the enormity of your family.

Hello, My Friend! I hope to get another post up in the next 48 hours. You may "remind me" after that period, if I haven't managed it yet. 😜
I forget . . . (It is just a little 5am) Have you posted your Christmas tales for this season? Do I need to scan back a few weeks for your stories?
Be well and happy, Neil!

I posted them on FB because I wrote them on my phone. I didn't take my laptop on the Christmas trip.
