My early morning vigil was delightfully rewarded by a star-bearing sky. Venus brought some of her old court of shining morning bright lights to say "Good Morning"! Thank you, Jon! I wish more folks could see and feel those good gifts. And that I didn't allow myself to forget sometimes. But . . . I am only human, and forgetting from time to time let's me discover all over again.

Glad to hear that the skies have cleared, and that you are getting to enjoy some celestial company again.

I had planned to head out one night Perseid-spotting over the weekend. But it rained. A lot. As it usually does in England whenever there is a meteor shower or an eclipse...

Yeah. I hear that! I was craning my neck to try to see a lost and late stream of Perseid Light over the last couple of days. No luck with that one. So the rest was that much better. Take care and enjoy your lovely island.
