Another Early Morning

I love sitting on my back deck early-early in the mornings, sipping coffee, talking to Arrow (who NEVER debates my comments), gazing at the beautiful stars and moon above, and listening to the wonderful bird chorus announcing the pending morning. Have done so for years, every chance I get

I like to hark on back to my youth on the plains of North Dakota. The star vistas were always so marvelous. Yours down south there are probably much like the farmland of North Dakota's star sparkling night sky. Maybe I need to leave the city when (if) I manage to retire and relax and enjoy the rest of my life. Probably several years to go yet anyway.

Be careful what you offer . . . I will definitely keep that particular offer in mind! Of course, I was thinking of moving closer to that childhood home--just NOT actually IN the politically conservative North Dakota itself. Now I might have to consider longer drives to visit family!

I hope the fires can be brought under control, and that you get your night skies back.

We're at that brief time of year when it's still light on my morning walks, and I'm too tired to stay up in the evenings until it gets dark. So no gazing at the stars for me. (Besides which, it has been raining. A lot.)

Oh, my Goodness! I have been drinking SO MUCH COFFEE EARLY EACH MORNING LATELY!!!!!

I'll be pouring my third mug within an hour and I'll tell myself, "You really should pour this back into the coffee pot." Then I sip some down and carry the mug back out on to the deck for more sipping and star-hunting. See? I can't take Good Advice, even when it's Good Advice From Me! 🤣

This morning Venus was, once again, a lone sparkle of light in the east-ish sky. But I'm getting used to that and am grateful every time I get to see her. I hope your weather and timing all come together with star views for you soon.
