I'm sorry the fairground flea market turned out to be something that was advertised online but obviously never got off the ground. I hope something else comes along.

But the fountain and the encounter with corgi-X both sound lovely - I'm glad there were some compensations to the day!

Perhaps, I should hang around my dog park to glean information about local questions. It's two blocks from me. :)

That would probably work pretty well . . . However, you'll likely almost never get the names of the people you talk to--their dogs' names, yes. The people's names, no.

It just goes that way. ;-}
