I just figured you got really busy. All of the insurance plans seem to find any way they can to be annoying and time consuming. Nothing is straight forward and there is always someone making a mistake. Perhaps, if the customer service folks weren't minimum wage, there'd be fewer mistakes and oversights. I hope it all gets worked out to your satisfaction. My sister is currently dealing with three agencies regarding my nephew. if any of them had bothered to answer their phones, (My sister called repeatedly.) there wouldn't be issues with Ross' funding.
Excellent point on the minimum wage aspect. It hadn't occurred to me that those folks might fall within that bracket. And so many Americans quail at the thought of a Canadian/European style socialized medicine...

That is a great looking dog bed! Yes, they are so pricey, I only buy them on sale. Not sure if you have those Tuesday Mornings stores there, but I have found some good deals there. I might buy some foam next time and make some covers yet even foam can be pricey if not on sale.

When I called the official number to try to talk with someone about the insurance today, the "hold" message said something close to: "If you are calling because you received a letter closing your insurance because you hadn't sent in a renewal but you DID send one in, please hang up. You will be receiving a letter reinstating your insurance soon." I held for a while anyway, but decided I'd give them a couple/few more days to send us our renewal letter. Shortly after I hung up, my boss called with a question and I told her about that message. She laughed out loud and told me her boyfriend had received a similar letter followed shortly by the retraction letter. Fingers are crossed here.
