I (usually) love daytime tv, especially the movies they show.

Lifetime's got on "One Special Night" with James Gardner and Julie Andrews, ah!! I own the movie, but I'm going to watch it damn it. It's too good not to. :)

What is it about movies on TV? Even if you already own the movie, and often in superior formats -- DVD, widescreen, etc. -- something just compels you to sit and watch the pan-and-scan "Edited for TV" version as if some new reveleation is going to smack you in the face. I don't really understand it.
