International Blog Against Racism Week is coming up, starting 6 August. If I can pull my stuff together I hope to write three entries - one about how gingerism and racism are different, one a bit of a roundup of scientific thinking about race these days (ie, that "races" don't really exist), one a summary of the issues for the new Doctor Who

I am plugging away at a Mills and Boon genre romance, where the female lead is of an Aussie Indian descent. To be quite honest, if and when I send the manuscript to M&B for consideration, this could be a sticking point - I don't think I've read one M&B where the leads aren't Anglo/European.
