If the original poster doesn't want sexist arseholes wasting everyone's time in her blog, I can't say I blame her.

That said, it is true that the bingo boards and so on can act as Get Out Of Jail Free cards, implying that POC are simply never wrong - with the further implication that there's a single, monolithic, correct POC viewpoint, which is of course a nonsense.

I think it's wise for any sympathetic White person to accept that POC have first-hand knowledge and experiences that we don't have and indeed can't have. Our gut reaction to things, our assessment of what's offensive and what isn't, are the product of a lifetime of experiences and assumptions which not everyone shares.

Of course, that in turn can fall neatly and recursively into "feeling that our own prejudices are fully justified"...
