Gorgeously written - clever, passionate, romantic, snarky-- so very them. I love the factuality of it that does absolutely nothing to stifle the hotness... For me, it probably made it stronger. (wonderful foreplay, even when the Doctor was being nervous and insecure).
I don't know if this makes any kind of sense to you but I keep wanting to say that this was a very satisfying story.
I struggle writing smut. If there are not enough details it devolves into "he did something good, and it felt good." If there are too many details there's no heart and it's just "he did this. Then she did this; then they had orgasms." So, I work really hard at trying to balance the two and am always gratified to know it worked.
I think I know what you mean when you say its satisfying. When one has a craving for good fic but finds only mediocre fic, they are not satisfied, right?
