So, I decided to take a break from the homework assigned by my draconian profs and start to make good on my promise to read through all your fics. XD And I am so glad that I started here, because this was SO. FREAKING. CUTE. I can't even express how adorable it was. It feels like a missing piece from the show, and it's just how I would've pictured it. And I'm going to confess that I'm not really a fan of Kate as Aaron's mommy, but you made me like her here.

This was my favorite part:

“This is Jack,” She explains, and after a few seconds’ hesitation, she adds, “He knew you when you were a baby.”

“Oh,” Aaron says, and she expects more questions, but instead his face breaks into a cheerful grin. “Hi.”

Jack appears surprised at Aaron’s immediate likeness to him, but he masks it and ruffles Aaron’s hair. “Hey, buddy. It’s nice to see you again.”

Procrastination is always good. ;D And I'm really happy you enjoyed this as much as you did. Since this was my first Jate fic, I judge it a bit harshly and think I didn't do as good as I could with it, so it definitely relieves me that you apparently don't think so.
Oh, btw-- what's hilarious is that I wrote this a couple of months after S4 ended, then in the first episode of S5 we saw that picture of Jack with Aaron at the park. OMG Darlton read my fic and used my idea! XD

I definitely share your desire for one. PLEASE, Darlton. There are just too many missing scenes between those episodes that just need to be seen. I read an interview with Darlton saying that soon they WILL be going back to FBs, so you never know! We might just get what we want. ;D
