wow, i really, really, really enjoyed this. i'm not a huge fan of jacob but this definitely redeems him. and your claire is absolutely perfect. i especially love the bit about charlie and how she never mentions him again. so sad and realistic and beautiful.

Oh wow! I really love this--that last line is killer! God. The whole thing is, really. So effective. Jacob is my least favorite "character" and as such I don't read him much, but this fic really grabbed me from the first line and wouldn't let me go. I love the concept of him being with Claire because it's kind of the ultimate way to get back at his brother! Taking what doesn't belong to him. The whole thing is creepy and yet comforting in the strangest way--you create a very vivid atmosphere and every single Claire line was unbelievably in-character! I wish I had the time to leave more detailed feedback. Thank you SO much for writing this for me--you're so sweet! I really loved it! You've definitely put a smile on my face!! ♥

I have to say I pretty much feel the same; the main reason his scenes intrigued me was because I found him really attractive. (Man, how shallow am I? XD.) So the fact that you still became interested in the fic makes me really happy. And I love how you think Jacob visiting Claire is his ultimate way of getting back at his brother! I honestly didn't really think of it that way, but I adore that idea. Creepy and comforting are great words to describe this fic, haha, and yay-- Claire was in-character to you!
