i'm glad you talked to steven and i reckon you shouldn't blow off a friendship by forcing things to go somewhere there is no attraction. things will either continue in a lukewarm romance and then you will break up and probably lose the friendship. mates will be with you for longer. and love should be fireworks!!!

Ruby, I'm confused! But I've decided to give it a go with him. We're just spending time together, being close, and seeing how it goes. Neither of us are really the sort of people to be bitter and weird if things don't work out so I think we'll still be friends if it doesn't develop into something great. I'm still a bit unsure because I always thought it should be fireworks, like you said, but he makes me happy and I do like him as more than a friend, so maybe it is worth pursuing?

Yeah, the whole "no legal booze until you're 21" thing you have over there makes me glad I didn't grow up there. :P Not that it really stops people, I guess.
