Oh, man, don't I know it! I was dreading going to work today, too: the department had an awful meeting on the schedule (ugly wrangling about department-chair candidates), and while I know it will still happen, at least it won't happen *today.*

I needed that day so much--I managed to get caught up on my reading for all the classes through the end of next week, whew!

It shouldn't be funny, but Toshi with the paper crumb on his mouth made my day!

Yay, snow day! We've had insane amounts of snow this year and as I type this it's doing this hail-freezing rain thing. I'm out of black thread and have packages to go out but I don't think I'll be leaving any time soon.

Toshi makes my day, too, even when he's destroying things that I really wish he wouldn't. Of course, I say that because he hasn't gotten at anything *too* precious . . . yet . . .

Now the forecast is for freezing rain all day tomorrow, when I have to be at the office until 7:30 p.m. I hope the nice vet tech who's moonlighting as Toshi's dogsitter can make it for her two visits!

The snow is beautiful when one doesn't have to go driving and sliding in it. Hope your day is productive and I look forward to snow pics. That little rascal puppy of yours. *goes out to check on the trouble my puppies might be getting into . . . like trenching the yard* Sheesh - no landscaping here. ;P
