Pretty Good Year

Impulsiveness or intuition?

I mean, look at where trusting your heart got you: a new home, satisfaction in work, a new addition to your family, and new experiences in love.

These are all matters of the heart that don't always benefit from pros and cons lists. And I 100% believe parts of you knew that. :)

Thanks so much for your comment, Heather. I like to believe that a part of me "knew" these decisions were best for me when I seemed to make snap decisions, too. Really, each decision felt like something "falling into place," so in a way, maybe I'd already made the decisions without knowing it . . . I just had to wait for the right circumstances to trigger it. If that makes any sense. :p

Perhaps you've just learned to trust your heart?

I know I've always been full of indecisiveness, carefully measuring out pros and cons, but at least in my case, it's something that's always made me afraid and held me back from living. Trusting my heart and going with my gut have resulted in the best decisions I've ever made, even if it made me feel a little crazy at the time.

I'm glad to hear you've had such a good year. :)
