Today's topic at 14valentines is athletics.

Today I've put together a pic spam of my all-time favorite female athletes. I could easily do a post composed entirely of figure skaters, since that's my favorite sport, but I tried to be a bit more inclusive. :-)

I don't keep track of sports enough to have favorite athletes, but I always liked Steffi Graf.

I hadn't seen that performance in years until I looked it up for this post, and then I just sat there sobbing. Gah. It's even sadder if you'd seen the way she skated with Sergei -- they were so beautiful together.
