does shoreline have a happy ending? by that i mean remus and sirius alive and happy together.

Well, they're definitely alive (it's a MWPP-era fic), but I would say it's more hopeful than happy. I say that because we don't actually see Remus and Sirius get together "onscreen," but it's strongly implied, and the story ends on a positive, hopeful note.

hmm, okay. i'll have to read it when i'm in the right mood. i never understand why people write what is essentially gen fic for a pairing-based exchanged.

I guess it is fairly gen, but the ship (or at least the promise of it/desire for it) is implied in several places, not just the ending.
