I feel foolish reccing this because it's old and so good, but on the off chance you haven't read this very real, very non-schmoopy Remus/Sirius fic, here's the link for Three Days by Kest

You know, I have read this -- but it was quite a while ago now, and this is exactly the kind of fic I was looking for. What a talented writer she is. Thank you!

No worries, I just happily went and reread it. I have a soft spot for fics where Remus and Harry bond over Sirius's death -- sometimes a girl needs a little angst. ;-) Thanks for the rec!

Hmm, this one sounds familiar -- can't remember whether I've read it or not. Can you tell me a little about it before I dive in?

Here's a link to a rec and some discussion--I don't know how to describe it at all, except to echo everyone else and say don't be put off because it's mpreg. It's amazing.

Ahhh, yes, I have read this one, a long time ago. One of very few mpreg's I've ever finished. You're absolutely right about it being anti-schmoop; I remember it being almost raw in its realism.

Thanks for the rec! If I get some time I may go back for another read. :-)
