Fic: Waiting for the Sun (Harry/Bill, NC-17)
In the aftermath of the war, Harry is dealing with so much anger and pain that it almost hurts to read this one -- but it feels completely believable. Bill is wonderful here, patient and caring in the face of Harry's hostility and his own not-so-happy past. Moving and surprisingly hot.
Art: More Gently the Second Time (Severus/Kingsley, NC-17)
If there's even one of you that hasn't seen this one yet, hurry, go see! Kingsley is so strong and protective and tender, and Snape looks positively ravished. Nngh.

Fic: The White Ravens (Severus, Harry, gen, PG-13)
I very rarely read gen, but clearly I should read it more often if this is the sort of stuff I'm missing. The atmosphere here is dreamy and contemplative and a little otherworldly, framed by a backdrop of Norse mythology that the author uses to explore the types of faith that sustain Snape and Harry through the darkest times of the war. I loved the undercurrents of hope here.

Fic: Hunter's Moon by
islandsmoke (Remus/Severus, NC-17)
One wouldn't think a bestiality fic could be sweet, but this one is. What I like about this is that the author acknowledges how much trust and love it would take for Snape to overcome his memories of nearly being killed by Moony as a teenager -- she doesn't just jump right into the hot wolfy sex. Lovely little fic.
Fic: Three Galleons by
copperbadge (Remus/Severus/Hermione, R)
So I usually don't read het, etc. etc. etc., but wow. This blew me away. Snape is a delightful grouch on the surface but clearly would walk through fire for Hermione, who has grown up into a strong, mature woman. Then Remus turns up desperately hurt and exhausted, and hurt/comfort of the most wonderful kind (and I don't mean sex, though that's eventually there too) commences. Funny and moving and convincing in a way that many threesomes aren't.
