You guys. Sometime between my last post and staying up till 2:30 in the morning to inhale about 50 pages of fic over at the kink meme, I changed my mind about not wanting to see the new Star Trek movie.

I'm leaving in 20 minutes. *headdesk*

Three times?! At $10.50 a pop, I think I'll have to wait still it comes out on Netflix for the next time, LOL.

I definitely enjoyed it though. And quite honestly? I think that just based on the movie, Kirk/Spock is a much more likely pairing than Kirk/McCoy. And I say that as someone who adores Kirk/McCoy in fic (because, like you, I've been seeing nothing but that pairing all over my flist). I mean, yo, there is barely any Bones in this movie at all! D-:

I had no idea who Zachary Quinto even was -- I saw some Chris/Zach RPS the other day and had to look up who Zach was, LOL. Have you been reading RPS in this fandom?

Oh, aha! He was the reason I went to ST in the first place, when friends wanted to go! I was a fairly big Heroes whore back in the day -- season 1 for sure, and most of 2. Haven't followed it for awhile, though. It got weird and confusing.

I read a bit of RPS when the film first came out, but haven't had much reading time for anything lately, rar. Chris/Zach is definitely the pairing I prefer for all ST and RPS fic, though. Especially after watching a few interviews of them being silly together. *grabby* I read one where Chris tries to put in a Heroes DVD to watch and Zach goes, "OH FUCK NO," and then, IDK they wrestle over it or something and end up fucking. That one was good. *nods* :D

Flora has some good Kirk/Spock, often crack, over at DW, though, if you're interested. That's all I've seen of it, without going to the comms to search.

ps - did you see this? Some good fic came up. My fave was this one. The opening scene is INSANELY HOT. :)

I read pretty much everything Flora writes, so I've seen those, yeah!

Hmm, I must have skipped that post since I was still resisting ST pretty hard at the time, and also because RPS doesn't usually draw me in that much. But hee, yes, that opening scene is a good one. ;-)
