3. Is there anything in your fridge right now that you would never eat/drink?
Coffee, which we only keep around for guests.

You don't drink coffee *wide eyed with amazement* *grins and goes and makes another cup of the stuff that makes me get through the day and night*

I enjoyed learning more about you from this meme :)

LOL, yeah, I've never had a cup of coffee in my life. Just never got into the habit, I guess, and I don't really like caffeine in any case -- makes me too jittery. :-)

Thanks for sharing these answers with us.
Heh, I have a little bro too. How much younger than you is yours?

Ooooh, coffee! *gets all starry-eyed* I gave up coffee for Lent ... worst idea ever ... lol

Also, thanks a lot for the HP-recs. You always manage to pick out the best cherries. :)

Have a nice weekend. *hugs*

My brother is a couple of years younger. He's great, very smart and fun. How about your brother?

Haha, I never got into the coffee habit -- I like the smell of it (sometimes), but the taste doesn't really do anything for me.

You're welcome -- glad you found something you liked! Hope your weekend is going well.

My brother is seven years younger than me, and the complete opposite of me. It's like my parent's genes were divided between the two of us. lol But I utterly adore him.

My weekend is mostly lazy, the way a good Sunday should be. ;-)

Hurray for younger brothers. *cuddles them* My brother and I are opposite in a lot of ways too. He's very social -- always out and about hanging out with various friends -- while I only have a few close friends and tend to sit at home on LJ half the time. :-P But we get along well.

I'm having a lazy Sunday too, though I have to go shopping at some point, ugh.

Philadelphia, Once, Ordinary People, Brokeback Mountain, Y Tu Mama Tambien...

I've never seen Ordinary People, but I love all the rest. Great choices!

Ordinary People is an oldie -- from 1980, I think? I believe it was the first film Robert Redford directed. The book (by Judith Guest) is actually even better than the movie, if you want to check that out. :-) It's basically a drama about how a family -- two parents and a son -- deal with the accidental death of the other son. It's sad, as you'd imagine, but I love it.

11. What was the last thing you bought?
A bag of spinach at the grocery store.

Hee hee. :) You got out a lot easier than I did, that's for sure!

7. What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
I'm feeling warm and fuzzy about my first real fandom love, Harry Potter, and I'm also reading a lot of original slash fic.

Harry Potter was my first fandom too! I was a stalker, though -- I had my journal and I'd comment on people's stories but other than that I kind of stayed to myself. Didn't meet anyone, sadly, which is one of the best parts about fandom. HP fandom is just so big, though.

I have to go back today for this week's groceries -- maybe I'll follow your inspiration and pick up something fun. :-)

Heh, yes, the HP fandom is absolutely enormous. Usually I like that about it because it means there's always good fic to read, and there's an endless variety of pairings and genres and kinks. But it can definitely be intimidating when you're just starting out! I don't pretend to know everyone in the fandom, but I am happy in my own little corner of it and I've made some good friends.
