^_^ Thanks! I've got, like, FOUR versions of that meeting other than this one, and I've not finished any of them. -_-;; It's the one missing scene that's always REALLY bugged me. Did Allan and Will hit it off? Did they meet in the same cell, or just before they got dragged out? Did they try to escape inside the jail or was it just Allan's one wander off into the crowd failed!attempt thing? -_-;;

I've a feeling that when I rewatched the ep, there was some suggestion that they weren't in the same cells. Or maybe I dreamt that bit... It happens a lot.

I like the idea of Will being resigned to his fate (trying to keep Luke calm by not losing it) an Allan being all chipper and 'Ah, it'll be all right'.

Unfortunately, during those scenes, I just kept seeing the Benedict guy in those BT ads going on about Rhodedendronums.

Kinda spoilt the vibe for me!

I vaugely recall one of the jailers saying "Put him in with the Locksley lot" when Robin leaves after seeing Allan, which is when we find out about his name ("I'm from Rochdale, that's why they call me Allan A Dale!" XD WIN moment~), and I'm totally sticking to that vauge recollection because it's firmly part of my canon. *shifty eyes*

Allow me to enlighten you re the BT ad - though you'll never look at Benedict in the same light again!

I suspect your memory is better than mine on the whole Locksley/Rochdale thing - it sounds more likely!

Just jumping in here to say that these are the best bunch of Will/Allan fics that I have read :D
I really loved them and I am adding them to my memories so I can read them again.
Very well done!

And number 4 soooo makes me think of the cast commentary for that moment when Will and Allan get out of the cart. Gordon Kennedy says, "Now, there's questions that have got to be asked here about Allan A Dale and Will Scarlett" XD
