i decided to make today a snow day because there's a blizzard moving through and the winds are at 20 mph, gusting as high as 45 mph. some days you just have to know when to stay home even if the buses are still running. (i'm forcing myself to not make any disparaging comments about the east coast.) i said i would get work done if i stayed home but

hallo pinnest. how was your sad sack christmas? i was so sick of spending time with family it was actually a relief to be back at work today. i am such a grinch.

also i think i heard a rumour that you know something about community fic, and if that is true, well, i could definitely listen to any recs you might have in that area. just saying.

berry my love! i'll be honest, it was the least stressful christmas ever and i actually really enjoyed the lack of stress. sure i missed the family but it was kind of nice.

what kind of community fic are you looking for?! i'm not a huge troy/abed fan because i don't know that people can do it better than the show but i've read some good ones. also, there's some gen and i've read A LOT of jeff/annie. and even if none of that is your bag, we can still talk about community because i love that show so effin much.

ugh, i just came in from shoveling and my hands are thawing. ow!

i don't really mind whether it's shippy or gen, or even what the ships are, so long as it kind of captures the feel of the show. does that sound pretentious? well, i am pretentious! so there it is.

i only discovered the show a few weeks ago so i've just seen a bunch of random episodes probably all out of sequence but it has already made me cry. my favourite is abed. oh, and senor chang obviously. should i hit up your delicious?

well i guess we'll be pretentious together! senor chang is definitely a fave. if you can ever watch the outtakes, you need to because ken jeong is hilarious. i also love donald glover especially when he cries. it kills me.

maybe check my delicious in a few hours? long story short, i didn't really use it for community fic but i have gone nuts saving h50 fic (i'm sure my lax use of it is one reason why yahoo is eager to sell). let me go bookmark my faves while i anxiously wait for some soup to come together. (beef soup from scratch is very nervewracking.)
