Thank you to all the people who wished me a happy birthday! It was a pleasant surprise to get those messages in my inbox!! :)

And yes, I am now the ripe old age of twenty-one.

Yesterday night, the former-TA turned awesome friend, G, and I went for a 6km hike on a path we've been down before. It was a lot of fun! Everything is coming into bud

You want what you want, and you happen to be a gorgeous, brilliant young woman. So, chances are good you will be far more likely to have the options to get what you want, so long as you actually make a grab for it. I wouldn't be ashamed to give in to what you want and take advantage of your well, advantages if I were you. Just think things through and be careful before doing anything. Given how often you are doing things with this Stef person and not feeling guilty over it, I am going to assume that your chances of a continued long-term commitment with your BF aren't incredibly good. You could keep together, but that sends off warning bells to me.

Being aware of what you want, and whether it will work out long term, or whether you are ready for a long-term relationship is big. Knowing you aren't ready, and allowing yourself to enjoy your time being single or having short-term, pleasant relationships might be better for you. You seem to want to experiment.

And, although things are good and stable with the bf, they're not great, you know? They're not exciting like they used to be, and sometimes I really feel like he doesn't try.

Your welcome. I've been through a lot for my age, and given my situation, I am somewhat analytical and jaded about things. However, if you really think about it, and you should be able to understand where I get this due to your studies as I understand them...people change. Not only over thousands of years as a race, but over several years as an individual. What someone wants at 15 is different than at 18. The same goes for 18 to 20, and then at 25.

What was good for you 5 years ago might not be good now, and what is good now might not be in 10 years. If you want to experiment, do so. Its your life, live it how you want not how others expect it to be lived. I definitely have a very different view on my life due to the choices I've made. Not all of the choices were good, but wisdom is gained from good and bad situations. So, there is a little good in the bad, even if just for that.

Are you still visiting your boyfriend? you seem to alwasy talk about how you have seen "G" or steph... But i don't recall you talking about seeing your boy is detail...? Tho i don't have the best of Memories :S

No, you're absolutely right, I haven't been talking about the bf an awful lot recently - that's because not much is going on, to be honest! Things are kind of going stale, I think...getting old.
I'm not really sure what's going on or how I feel about things anymore. I know I love him, but I feel like life could be more exciting!
