The Burning Man principles are... fucking beautiful. Whether or not they are fulfilled at Alchemy (my local burn), the mere attempt is enough to make me yearn for being there.

Yeah, it's been a long time since I read those, and the radical inclusion thing is something I want to remember, an energy I want to bring next time I go to a burn event. In some ways I've been feeling like I don't quite fit in because burners tend to be a certain type of people and I feel... different somehow... I'm not as "creative" (story I tell myself), I could live without electronic music, etc. etc. But I'm always telling myself stories about not quite belonging no matter where I am. :P I love that I can be me, and you can be you, and that doesn't work perfectly in practice maybe, but it's a beautiful intention
