I think it's stuff going on in my life these days, but one of my favorite songs currently is "My Brilliant Feat." Yes, it's the guy from Men At Work, but he's a good songwriter:

Colin Hay does do some good songwriting. It's nice to see that he's again attaining a following years after he would, by all expectations, be considered just a has-been.

I think that following has a lot to do with "Scrubs." Zach Braff might be a middlin actor but he can pick artists like no one's business.

On a semi-related note, I've had "Guy Love" in my head all morning. Man!

I seriously wonder how many talented writers and musicians get type-cast from some stupid band they were in back when they didn't know better.

One of the guys from Milli Vanilli tried his hand at folk music. I'm curious if he was ever successful. One of these days I might look into it further.

According to the "Behind the Music" I saw some years ago, he was doing coffee houses but nothing bigger. I know the other guy was still alive during the filming but committed suicide shortly after.

Colin Hay does some good stuff from what I've heard thus far. He's coming to AZ shortly, I wouldn't mind seeing him live.
