It's the ending of creepy pasta that needs to be the strongest. As much as the general feeling and emotion of the piece needs to be strong, the ending needs to be almost a punchline.

This one is possibly the only thing of this sort I've written that's unnerved me a bit-- I'm a sucker for the "You screwed everything up and someone -not you- will bear the consequences!" line.
