I thoroughly enjoyed this fic. Good job on all fronts. Hot and thoughtful.
The only thing about it that rang false to me was the last two words, "The End." I believe there's more to this story and I'll enjoy thinking about it.
Thanks so much. I love that I have you thinking about them.
I confess to enjoying the open ending. I agree that there's more to their story, but by not telling it, it in a way gets to live a larger life. I'm afraid otherwise I'd be tempted to fold them back into the existing Smallville continuity (while keeping them together of course) but I kind of think where these two in this story are headed is completely uncharted. I think they'd forge a whole new destiny together.
Thank you so much for the prompt. I hadn't previously taken a swing at Clark's RedK summer since everyone had it so well covered, but your prompt made me think about it and while I by no means reinvented the wheel, lol, I was pleased that there seemed to still be something a little different I could add.
I don't think I'll do a sequel but you can be sure that whatever happens next: smooth or rocky, with or without the ring, a return to Smallville or leaving to start a whole new life - they are going to face what comes next together and be stronger for it. :)
Thanks again so much for your comments. They're much appreciated. :D
I loved everything about this fic. I loved the Kal/Clark feeling and how they bleed into eh other and how they aren't seperate people but using the ring gave Clark the courage to act on his desires. Everything is so hot! The art was also spot on for this awesome fic!
Thank you! I liked exploring who Clark would be with the ring since we saw that while "Kal" had his ups and downs, he also had even tempered moments where it was almost like the ring was not affecting him at all.
I also enjoyed making the artwork. It's a lot harder to find the good high quality screen captures for the earlier seasons. I counted myself lucky to find one of Chloe's hair before it got the extensions added, lol.
