Just like the many team ups of the past, Chloe's the brains to his brawn, although Clark's no slouch in thinking on his feet either to best 12 legends of Ancient history. Really good exposition in keeping everyone up to speed on just what Clark's dealing with as he battles and the reason for his fatigue and injuries later in the piece.
Great time-travel jaunt, just the right about of drama, injected with humor, snark, playfulness and obvious partnership.
Fabulous story. And you're very welcome for the art. This piece was truly the inspiration for it.

What a great ending, so exciting. Yay to Clark for winning the fights and Yay to Chloe for being so smart. I liked her ruse with Ajax, stalling him so Clark could get the proper armor.
I think maybe yellow Kryptonite allows Clark to time travel, so this should become a series. Next up Camelot Awaits. Clark and Chloe have sex in the ruins of an ancient fort in Wales and travel back to King Arthur's time. After that, Washington Awaits. Clark and Chloe have sex in Valley Forge and help with the American Revolution.
But if those stores don't happen I will still love this one. It's very special to me. Thank you mystery writer. <3 :-D

There's also Nottingham Awaits: Clark and Chloe have sex in Sherwood Forest and travel back in time to Robin Hood and his merry men. Or Humanity Awaits: they do it in what they eventually figure out is the original site of the Garden of Eden, end up at the dawn of time, and wonder whether or not to tell Eve to back away from the damn Apple.
That was an amazing story. It reminded me of every Sunday morning when I was a child after a fantastic Saturday out I would watch the Hercules and Xena that I had taped the previous day with Ready Brek with, wait for it, chocolate chips! In other words brilliant.
I loved this fic so much! I'm so glad that they got out okay. :D
Now, I do have one question. What gives Clark more energy the sun or wanting to hit Ajax for having slapped Chloe's rear end?
